KARANTEZ VRO offers you a unique and exceptional piece: here is a magnificent coffee service by Paul Fouillen and worked entirely in Quimper polychrome earthenware.

All the elements are in excellent condition. This art deco Breton artwork includes a potter, a creamer, a sugar bowl, 10 cups and 10 saucers. The decoration of stylized birds and vine branches in red tones. The visuals are dense and the lines are refined. This is evidenced by the rigorously straight handles of the different parts of the service.

Paul Fouillen is one of the great names who has made the reputation of Quimper earthenware. Prolific and creative, he will work for the famous H. B. house. before launching his own pottery factory. Thus, Fouillen Quimper’s house was one of the most beautiful pieces of Breton art of the 20th century. A style largely influenced by the Seiz Breur artistic movement of which Paul Fouillen was close.
