Description

A whisky so Breton that it would be made from buckwheat only? You don’t believe that? This is what KARANTEZ VRO offers you with this Silver Eddu whisky.

Ed for cereal, du for black, Eddu means nothing more than “buckwheat” in Breton.

With its amber-yellow colour, Eddu Silver is the result of a double distillation in pot still on open fire, confining its refined character. Maturing in oak barrels adds a touch of nobility to this whisky.

“On the rocks”, our Eddu will reveal its notes of candied apricot and citrus fruit but also ripe fig. But don’t hesitate to savour it pure, just like a great Cognac!

Buckwheat lovers? Don’t wait any longer to discover our Broceliande Eddu whisky, with its magical roots !

Located in Plomelin (Cornouaille), on the border of the Glazik and Bigouden countries, the Distillerie des Menhirs has distinguished itself since 1921 by using the best Breton products in the making of its alcohols. Buckwheat, cider apples and now barley have helped to shape the identity of this small distillery, which is genuinely Breton.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health, to consume in moderation.
