Description
KARANTEZ VRO makes you discover discover one of its exceptional Breton products: Broceliande Silver Eddu is the only whisky in the world made from buckwheat exclusively. Its singularity is reinforced by a maturing in oak barrels of the mythical Broceliande forest.
Ed for cereal, du for black, Eddu means nothing more than “buckwheat” in Breton.
Brilliant and amber gold in colour, this whisky will surprise you with its aromatic complexity and seduce you with its woody and delicately vanilla notes of Broceliande oak. This is complemented by aromas of dried fruit. It will give you a perfect harmony on the palate, letting its fruity notes explode in the mouth during the finish.
You will enjoy tasting your Broceliande Silver Eddu neat for its woody appearance while its floral notes will reveal more on the rocks.

Located in Plomelin (Cornouaille), on the border of the Glazik and Bigouden countries, the Distillerie des Menhirs has distinguished itself since 1921 by using the best Breton products in the making of its alcohols. Buckwheat, cider apples and now barley have helped to shape the identity of this small distillery, which is genuinely Breton.
