The apples are also carefully selected and all come from orchards of the Quimper country. <strong>The demand for quality goes hand in hand with ethical commitment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, the lambig (whose name derives from the Breton <em>ul lambig<\/em>, and which means <em>alembic<\/em>) was a farm brandy intended for the personal consumption of farmers and therefore forbidden to be sold.<\/p>\n<p>Your Lambig with Coffee will be ideal as a digestive drink. But, unlike other liquors, we suggest that you serve it chilled to enjoy the best of its flavour. It will then reveal its fine and subtle aromas.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, don&#8217;t hesitate to let yourself be tempted by the other digestives offered on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/karantezvro.bzh\/en\/\">karantez vro.bzh<\/a><\/strong>, such as our <strong><a href=\"\/?p=7680\">Kremmig<\/a> <\/strong>or the famous <strong><a href=\"\/?p=7698\">Plougastel Strawberry liquor<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The beautiful story of our producer<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The <em>Distillerie Artisanale du Plessis<\/em> is one of the very last traditional distilleries in Brittany. Located in the nearby countryside of Quimper, it is the result of a long family history.<\/p>\n<p>A descendant of a local distiller, Pierre Seznec founded his distillery in 1980. Very quickly, his know-how relying on the Cornwall terroir is recognized far beyond the West of Brittany. He will make the creation of liquors (made from local fruit) and Breton aperitifs his specialty.<\/p>\n<p>Maugane and Herv\u00e9 Seznec have now picked up the torch and the entire distillation process is still carried out on the family estate. A place steeped in history as it occupies the site of a fortified Breton castle dating from the 12th century.
